What «free» means here
- No time limit — There is no trial period and no counter of days left. The chat keeps working while the service is in open launch.
- Nothing is switched off — Files, voice messages, several sites, the public API and webhooks work for everyone: there is no cut-down version.
- No card required — Payment is not connected, so there is nothing to enter and nothing to charge.
- No adverts in the widget — The chat window shows your brand, not ours: the only mark is a small WidgetChat sign in the header.
What happens when pricing appears
Plans will appear sooner or later — a hosted service costs money to run. We will say so in advance, in the dashboard, and will not switch off a working chat overnight.
What you already rely on should not stop because of our pricing decision: that is the promise, and it is written into the terms of use.

Is there a catch?
No. The service is young and we are building the customer base; payment is simply not connected yet.
Will I lose my conversations when plans appear?
No. The conversations belong to your account and stay there; they can also be exported through the public API.
How many messages can I send?
There are no message limits. There are protective rate limits against abuse, and normal support work never reaches them.
