Live chat for your website
A visitor asks a question in the chat window, and you answer from Telegram — the same place where you already talk to your colleagues. No operator app to install, no extra browser tab to keep open.
How it works
- 1 The visitor opens the chat The button sits in the corner of the page. The window opens on top of the site: nothing reloads and the person stays on the page they were reading.
- 2 The message arrives in Telegram A separate topic for this visitor appears in your support group. Everything they send — files, screenshots, voice messages — goes into it.
- 3 You answer from that topic The reply shows up in the chat window on the site within a second. The visitor does not have to reload the page or leave a phone number to hear back.
- 4 The conversation is kept Someone closed the tab and came back a day later: the history is there and the conversation continues where it stopped.
What the visitor sees
The window is a conversation, not a contact form: the same thing people are used to in a messenger. The fewer differences from a messenger, the more often a visitor actually asks the question instead of closing the tab.
- Files and screenshots — The paperclip attaches a file, and on a desktop it also takes a screenshot — nobody has to describe an error in words.
- Voice messages — A recording turns into text right away, and the person sees the transcript before sending it, so a misheard word can be fixed.
- Emoji — The full Telegram Desktop set, flags and gestures included — the conversation reads like a chat, not like paperwork.
- Quick replies — Ready-made phrases under the first message: tapping is easier than typing, and conversations start more often.
- A window that fits — On a desktop it can be dragged and resized by any edge, and it remembers where you left it. On a phone it opens full screen.
- Sound and a tab badge — If the reply arrives while the person is in another tab, they hear a sound, the tab title blinks with the news and the site icon shows the unread count.
- The language of your page — The widget takes the language from your page: a Russian page gets a Russian window, an English one gets English.
What you can change without a developer
- The look of the button and the window — Colour, corner of the screen, button icon, window title.
- Who answers — The name and role in the chat header: people reply to «Maria, orders» more readily than to a nameless «Support».
- The first message — The invitation the visitor sees on their own, and the quick replies under it.
- Sounds — The reply and send sounds come from a set; you can upload your own file.
- Your domains — The widget only works on the domains you listed. Nobody can run your chat on another site with your key.
A message is not lost even when the storage is busy
A message counts as accepted once it is written to disk, not once the database has taken it. If the storage is unavailable at that moment, the visitor sees the usual confirmation and the message reaches the operators as soon as the connection is back — with no duplicates and no «please send it again».
Maintenance looks like a short delay rather than a broken chat: the window keeps taking messages and explains that the older history is temporarily hidden but kept.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a developer to put the chat on my site?
No. The dashboard gives you one line of code to paste into your template before the closing body tag. If a contractor takes care of the site, the dashboard also prepares a task you can forward to them.
Do operators need a separate application?
No. Replies are written from ordinary Telegram, on a phone or a computer. Every visitor gets their own topic in your support group, so conversations do not mix.
What happens if nobody answers right away?
The message waits. The visitor can close the site: when you answer, they will see the reply on their next visit, and if the tab is still open they will hear the sound.
Does the chat work on phones?
Yes. On a phone the window opens full screen and uses the system pickers for files, photos and video.
Can I use it on several sites?
Yes. Each site is connected separately, with its own snippet and its own appearance, and the conversations of different sites never mix.
How much does it cost?
Nothing right now: the service is in open launch and payment is not connected. Plans will appear later, and we will say so in advance.
